Make a movie starring your dog

I made a movie when I was in (junior high? high school?) about my dog. The movie was named "Hildi: A Life." I had rented a video camera to tape my grandparent's 50th anniversary party, and spent the day trying it out with the dog, a mini dachshund. The video is on VHS in my mother's house, but I remember that includes such moments as --Hildi wearing aluminum-rimmed dark glasses dancing to "Welcome to the Terrordome" by Public Enemy --Hildi being dragged by leash up and down the sidewalk --Hildi reading some sort of philosophy book --A final coda with The Beatles' "A Day in the Life" - a song I forever associate with that masterwork.
