The Story

I made this coat for Joshua for his birthday (which is also right before Burning Man).  At the time, I had a pretty horrible crush on him.  When I started working on it, I thought, "This is going to be perfect!  He'll LOVE this!".  But as the project got underway and I began to think it might have been a bad idea.  It was a pretty cool coat and I didn't want him to think I had put TOO much work into, you know?  I didn't want him to think I cared TOO much.  When I finished, I had Carey Christie over to help me decide what to do. She told me not to be a douche and give it to him.  I did.  I think he was actually pretty fucking overwhelmed when I gave it to him but I was glad I did.  Maybe it was a good thing that he found of how much I cared!
