Be friends with your ex

Me and my ex Jordan have been friends longer than we were together now.  Like, eight years?

Now he's over at my place getting ruby on rails lessons from my boyfriend Peter.

It's super challenging to start, especially when everyone thinks you are so weird for even trying, but then it's easy.  The trick from what i've observed with others who've been friends with exes is to not be mad about why you didn't work out as a couple and appreciate why you liked them to begin with.  In every significant relationship there's an inner core of good friendship, i hope.
