Save someones life

Video'd be best.

The Story

I am a Newborn ICU nurse, and in my work I have helped to save more than a few babies. I have performed chest compressions, hang-bagged, and pushed IV medications into many little ones.

The man holding the big red book, well, I resuscitated him in a hallway at the Everett Events Center a few years ago. He is the narrator for the annual performance of "The Nutcracker" that I'm in. He became unresponsive and cyanotic (blue) while in full costume, awaiting his cue for the second act. I could not detect a pulse and he was only taking agonal breaths, which means they were occassional and not very effective. I ended up doing a few chest compressions on him, after which he took a deep, gasping breath and his eyes fluttered open. He revived pretty much fully before the paramedics arrived and placed himself on the stretcher. I think he must have been experiencing a heart arrhythmia which was never detected or diagnosed.
